Urticaria

Urticaria is a type of skin rash caused by an allergic reaction and sometimes it is non-allergic also. The causes of chronic Urticaria that lasts for more than 6 weeks in most cases are still unknown. The common triggers for the disease are allergies to medications, food, cosmetics, detergents, and soaps. Sometimes it may cause due to physical or emotional stress, change of weather and dampness. It may cause in children due to infections such as viral illnesses.It may cause due to insect sting or bites. The physical agents like sunlight, cold, water, heat or air pressure can cause Urticaria disease.

These are noticeable dark red or pink skin rashes raised to form itchy bumps and look like mosquito bites. They can occur anywhere on the body with a propensity of disappearing on one place and reappearing on the other place. Their size can range from a few millimeters to several inches in diameter. They can occur on the arms, trunk, and legs and they have a tendency to change the size.
