Hayfever

Also known as allergic rhinitis, hay fever is one of the most common chronic diseases. It is defined as the irritation and inflammation of the nasal passages caused by year-round and seasonal allergens. Running nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, post nasal drip and watery eyes are some common symptoms of hay fever.

Though, hay fever affects the people of all age groups equally; the children and young adults have more chances of getting affected by it.Hay fever is classified as seasonal and perennial. Seasonal hay fever develops in pollen seasons and usually, it occurs after six years of age. The perennial hay fever develops around the year.

Modernized lifestyle and presence of multiple pets also trigger allergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis is not merely the running nose.
